Why music?

When Diane was the resident poet at Chado – The Way of Tea with Dr Varuni Kulasekera and Master of the Universe, Brian Ritchie, they would often invite musicians to improvise at lunch time. As Diane wrote my poems, the music would become part of the text and it was wonderful.

Much of the music seems to magically appear as we are writing the books and sometimes a song is just something WE KNOW the characters would LOVE!
